This Privacy Policy explains how Vault Money L.L.C-FZ ("Vault Money", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit vaultmoney.io, contact us, or use our services.

We comply with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, with the EU/UK GDPR for European Economic Area and United Kingdom data subjects.

Data we collect

We collect personal data in three ways: directly from you, automatically when you use the site, and from third parties (counterparties, compliance providers) where lawful.

Information you provide

• Identity & contact: full name, email address, phone number, country of residence, role descriptor (private individual, business owner, family office, etc.).
• Communications: the contents of any message, form submission, calendar booking, or correspondence with us.
• Onboarding data (during qualification, where applicable): proof of identity, source of funds, beneficial ownership, business activity, expected transaction volumes — required for KYC/AML compliance.

Information collected automatically

• Device & technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, time-zone, device type, screen size, referring URL.
• Usage data: pages viewed, time on page, links clicked, language selected, scroll depth — only at an aggregate, anonymous level unless you choose to identify yourself.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see the Cookie Policy below.

Information from third parties

• Compliance and screening providers: sanctions, PEP, and adverse-media checks performed by licensed KYC vendors as part of our onboarding obligations.
• Counterparty banks and platforms: where relevant to facilitating your account opening, FX execution, or card issuance.
• Calendly: when you book a call, Calendly Inc. shares your meeting details with us per their privacy policy.

How we use your data

We use personal data only for the purposes listed below. We do not sell personal data, ever.

• To respond to your enquiry, schedule introductory calls, and provide information about our services.
• To assess whether we can serve you, match you to the right counterparty network, and complete onboarding.
• To comply with our legal obligations, including KYC, AML/CFT screening, sanctions monitoring, and record-keeping under UAE law.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the website (including analytics on aggregate visitor behaviour).
• To protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
• With your explicit consent, to send occasional updates about our services. You can opt out at any time.

Legal basis (for EEA/UK visitors)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Performance of a contract — when you ask us to assess, qualify, or facilitate a service for you.
• Legitimate interests — for site analytics, security, and unsolicited B2B outreach to corporate addresses.
• Legal obligation — for KYC, AML, sanctions, and record-keeping requirements.
• Consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

Sharing & international transfers

We share personal data only with the categories of recipient listed below, and only to the extent strictly necessary.

• Counterparty banks, EMIs, and FX brokers within our network, where you have asked us to introduce you.
• Service providers processing on our behalf under written contracts: KYC/AML vendors, IT and hosting, email delivery, calendar scheduling, customer support tooling.
• Professional advisers: lawyers, auditors, accountants — under duties of confidentiality.
• Regulators and authorities: where required by UAE law, court order, or to protect our rights.

Some recipients may be located outside the UAE. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure an adequate level of protection through one or more of: a UAE Data Office adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules, or your explicit consent for the transfer.

How long we keep data

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

• Enquiry and call-booking data: 24 months from last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Onboarded client data: for the duration of the relationship plus at least 5 years thereafter, in line with UAE AML record-keeping obligations.
• Analytics data: aggregated and anonymised within 26 months.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Erase ("right to be forgotten") personal data we no longer need or that we hold without legal basis.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
• Data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Complain to the UAE Data Office (or your local supervisory authority in the EEA/UK).

How we protect your data

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage where applicable, access controls on a strict need-to-know basis, staff confidentiality undertakings, and regular review of our security posture. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are not directed to, or intended for, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for some changes, email notification).

Terms governing your use of this site.

Acceptance

By accessing vaultmoney.io, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms apply only to the website. Any actual financial services we provide are governed by separate engagement letters and account agreements.

Scope & informational purpose

The information on this site is provided for general informational purposes about Vault Money's services. It does not constitute: financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial product, or a guarantee of any specific outcome (including FX rates, settlement times, or onboarding eligibility).

References to currencies, rates, or savings examples (including in the FX savings calculator) are illustrative and based on mid-market reference rates that fluctuate. Your actual rate depends on amount, currency pair, timing, and our counterparty pricing at execution.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the Vault Money name, logo, brand marks, copy, design, illustrations, code, and arrangement — is owned by or licensed to Vault Money L.L.C-FZ and is protected by UAE and international copyright, trademark, and design laws. You may view the site for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, or scrape any part of the site without prior written permission.

Third-party trademarks (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and used here for descriptive purposes.

Disclaimers
